Ted Shoub has a corporate commercial practice and advises private companies on mergers and acquisitions, financings, partnership/shareholder/joint venture agreements, distribution and licensing agreements, corporate governance, corporate reorganizations, general corporate matters, as well as day-to-day commercial matters.

Ted has worked with clients in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, agribusiness, professional services, financial services, construction, cannabis, pharmaceuticals and software. Ted has many years of experience in representing licensed professional services firms, such as professional engineering, architecture, land surveying, lighting design, landscape architecture and accounting, including in M&A transactions, as well as providing advice regarding the professional registration of, and ongoing compliance requirements for, professional firms practicing across Canada.

Ted is co-head of the firm’s Canada - Israel Initiative, focused on advising Israeli companies looking to raise capital in or make investments in Canada or to expand their businesses into Canada, as well as on Canadian companies looking to invest in Israel or to partner with Israeli companies. Ted is one of the founders of "The Maple & Honey Forum" (LinkedIn), which serves as a premier platform for investing and growing businesses interested in leveraging the Canada-Israel relationship.

Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Ted was a partner in another international law firm.
