With a focus on the mining and securities industries—as well as a broad range of sectors through general M&A—he advises public companies and private businesses of all sizes on corporate governance, capital raising and commercial transactions. Overview Jonathan assists clients in structuring and executing transactions that align with their business goals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating potential risks. He has experience conducting due diligence, advising on regulatory matters, and drafting and negotiating key agreements, including partnership and shareholder agreements. Whether guiding a company through an acquisition, helping an entrepreneur secure investment or ensuring governance frameworks meet industry standards, Jonathan is committed to delivering practical, well-executed solutions that support his clients’ long-term success. Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Jonathan summered and articled with the firm. While articling, Jonathan was seconded to Hyundai Canada.
