Erwin De Guzman

Throughout his legal studies at the University of Calgary, Erwin was recognized with the Honourable Cecilia Johnstone Equality Award and placed first in the Bennett Jones Health Law Moot. Erwin also served on the board of a Calgary-based nonprofit and presented his undergraduate honours thesis in philosophy to the Aperion Society.

He is actively involved in advancing equality in the legal profession and supporting community-focused legal initiatives. Erwin also worked in student leadership and research roles, which helped develop his advocacy and analytical skills.  Erwin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with Honours. Erwin is also fluent in Tagalog.
