Alexandra Doane joined Bennett Jones as a summer student in 2024 at the Vancouver office and returns as an articling student.

Overview

Throughout her studies at Dalhousie University, Alexandra pursued a combined degree program earning both a Juris Doctor and Master of Health Administration. She focused on corporate law and competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition where she received third place for applicant memorials in the Canadian rounds. Alexandra graduated law school on the Dean's List and was recognized as an Academic All-Canadian during her time as a varsity athlete at both Dalhousie University and Queen's University.

She was actively involved in her community through the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service where she served as the external relations manager and advocate and through Pro Bono Dalhousie contributing to the Wills Project and Immigration Clinic. Alexandra also held leadership roles including serving as co-chair of the Canada Law Student Games where she helped organize a multi-day event for 300 law students.

In her undergraduate studies at Queen's University, Alexandra earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) with distinction majoring in Life Sciences and was named to the Dean's Honour List.
