Maya Griffith joined Bennett Jones as a student in 2024 at the Toronto office. 
Overview

Throughout her studies at Osgoode Hall Law School, Maya focused on business, public and international law.  She also worked as a caseworker with the Community and Legal Aid Services Program, and participated in the Anti-Discrimination Intensive Program at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre. 

Maya was actively involved in her community through the Black Law Students' Association Osgoode and Pro Bono Students Canada Osgoode. She was recognized for her contributions with the Student Support and Mentorship Award from the Black Law Students' Association Osgoode, and the Sabrina Shillingford Diversity and Inclusion Award from the Osgoode Women’s Network. 

Prior to attending law school, Maya earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Global Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2022. Her experiences as a banquet server and summer camp math teacher helped her develop strong organizational and communication skills.
