Marissa Hatzigeorgiou joined Bennett Jones as a student in 2024 at the Toronto office.
Overview
Throughout her studies at McGill University, where she earned a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law in 2024, Marissa was actively involved in her community as a student advocate, working as a case worker at the McGill Legal Information Clinic, as well as providing legal support at the Clinique juridique du Grand Montreal and the Compass Startup and Legal Clinic.
Marissa also served as the senior managing editor for the McGill Law and Health Journal and was recognized for her contributions to the Quebec legal and Hellenic communities with the 2023 Hellenic Jurists Association of Quebec Student Scholarship.
Prior to attending law school, Marissa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology from McGill University in 2021. She also gained valuable experience working as a litigation student at Bombardier Aerospace, where she developed her research and writing skills.
