Overview

Jennifer Huang has a corporate commercial and securities law practice.

Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Jennifer summered and articled with the firm. While articling, Jennifer was seconded to the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission.

In law school, Jennifer completed a specialization in business law and was the recipient of a number of academic awards, including prizes in securities law and the business law concentration.

Experience
•  Summit Royalty in its "go public" transaction by way of reverse take-over of Eagle Royalties
•  Summit Royalty in the US$9.9-million purchase of a royalty on the producing Madsen Project from a fund managed by Sprott Resource Lending 
•  Summit Royalty in its acquisition of a portfolio of cash flowing royalties and stream from IAMGOLD Corporation for US$17.5 million
•  The Initial Consenting Senior Secured Noteholders of Sherritt International Corporation, a nickel and cobalt producer and refiner, in connection with a note exchange and recapitalization by way of Court-approved plan of arrangement
•  BioLife Solutions, as Canadian counsel, in its acquisition of PanTHERA CryoSolutions 
•  O3 Mining Inc. in its $204 million-acquisition by Agnico Eagle Mines Limited by way of a negotiated take-over bid 
•  Drone Delivery Canada in its merger of equals transaction with Volatus Aerospace to create a global diversified drone technology and services leader
•  O3 Mining in its C$21-million "bought deal" public offering of units
•  Argonaut Gold in its sale to Alamos Gold representing an enterprise value of US$555 million and in its concurrent spin-out of its US and Mexico assets into a new junior gold producer, Florida Canyon Gold
•  Florida Canyon Gold in the sale of its Mexican business unit, including the San Agustin mine, to Heliostar Metals 
•  Florida Canyon Gold in its sale to Integra Resources by way of a court approved plan of arrangement for implied consideration of approximately C$95 million
•  Park Lawn Corporation, a funeral, cremation and cemetery provider, in its C$1.2-billion going private transaction involving Viridian Acquisition.
•  Osisko Mining Inc. on its earn-in and joint venture on certain mineral properties held by Bonterra Resources Inc. in Quebec's Eeyou Istchee James Bay region.
•  O3 Mining Inc. and Osisko Development Corp., in the spin-out transaction resulting in the formation of a new venture, Electric Elements Mining Corp., and its subsequent seed round equity financing.
•  O3 Mining Inc. in its $18.5-million non-brokered private placement of common and flow-through shares.
