Overview Sam advises private and publicly listed clients on transactional and corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments, as well as capital markets operations and securities compliance. Before joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Sam gained experience at another leading corporate law firm. During his studies at the University of Montréal, Sam spent a semester abroad at the University of Lisbon and completed a clerkship at the Superior Court of Québec. He also received the Roy-Bélanger and LSA Involvement scholarships for his outstanding community involvement and academic record. Since 2024, Sam has been a member of the Emerging Leaders Committee of the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation, contributing to fundraising and community engagement in support of cardiovascular health research, innovation and access.
