Emma Kirwin joined Bennett Jones as a student in 2024 at the Toronto office.
Overview

Throughout her studies at Osgoode Hall Law School, Emma spent considerable time mooting, winning Top Oralist in the Jessup International Law Moot, and Distinguished Oralist in the Lerners Moot.

In addition, Emma was actively involved in her community at Osgoode Hall Law School as a co-president of the Osgoode Venture Capital Law Society and by initiating a clothing drive to provide second-hand business attire for job interviews in the workplace. She also spent a gap year co-founding a construction technology company, which helped further develop her entrepreneurial and business skills.

Emma earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in History and English Literature from Brock University in 2021. She has been recognized for her achievements, including being named in Business London's Top 20 In Their Twenties, the DMZ's Women of the Year List, and winning the #1 Remarkable Student Pitch Competition (hosted by Student Life Network and CIBC), and #1 Monster Pitch Competition at the Goodman School of Business.
