Overview
Throughout his legal studies at the University of British Columbia, Tinashe interned at the British Columbia Securities Commission, served as co-president of the Black Law Students’ Association, chaired the Law Career Services Office Advisory Committee, and worked as assistant business manager of the University of British Columbia Law Review.
Tinashe is actively involved in his community through academic and mentorship initiatives and has been recognized with awards including the Deloitte Canada Bloom Scholarship, CPA Education Foundation New Canadian Achievement Award, and the BBPA BMO Scholarship. Tinashe also spent several years working for Deloitte Canada, Sysco Canada, and Employment and Social Development Canada, which helped develop his skills in business analysis and public sector service delivery. Tinashe speaks Shona at a conversational level.
