Overview
Tao has a general commercial litigation practice.
He has represented clients before the Alberta Court of King's Bench and the Alberta Court of Justice and has also assisted with domestic arbitration proceedings involving complex contractual disputes within the petrochemical industry.
While attending law school, Tao won the Canadian Energy Law Foundation Prize for top performance in Oil and Gas Law. Tao also served as a Caseworker for the Civil and Family Law Projects at Student Legal Services of Edmonton.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Tao summered and articled with the firm.
