Murray G. Coleman

Murray's practice focuses on commercial transactions, business law, private company mergers and acquisitions, banking and franchise matters. He advises clients on matters relating to financings, secured transactions, asset and share purchase agreements and corporate structuring and organization. Murray has been on the board of directors of a number of public and private national and international boards and continues to carry on board work. 

Murray carries on a busy private M&A practice acting on asset and share purchase agreements ranging from under a million dollars, to tens of millions.  He acts for private equity firms on the buy side and for clients who are selling their businesses to strategic partners, competitors or private equity firms.

Murray acts for clients in the Agribusiness, Food and Beverage sector representing clients including cattle and hog producers, pet food manufacturers, food and beverage retailers and breweries. Murray is a member of the American Agricultural Law Association.

For franchisors and franchisees, Murray advises on matters relating to franchise structures, compliance with franchise legislation, negotiation and preparation of franchise agreements, and franchise litigation and disputes. Murray is a member of both the Canadian Franchise Association and the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising.
