Sara Houston

Throughout her legal studies at the University of Calgary, Sara was co-president of the Business Law Association and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada for the Emergency Protection Order and Civil Claims Duty Counsel projects. Sara received several academic awards including the Donald P. McLaws Prize and the Justice Morrow Bursary in Law.

She was actively involved in her law school community through her work with multiple student organizations and initiatives focused on access to justice. Sara also spent several years working in both legal and business environments, including as a corporate legal assistant at a boutique firm, as an accounts payable coordinator at Aritzia, and most recently as a legal extern with ATCO’s in-house legal department.
