Overview
Daniel Tessaro acts for borrowers and lenders on a wide range of lending transactions, including syndicated loans, asset-based loans, cross-border loans, DIP loans, subordinated debt financings, acquisition financings and loan purchases. Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Daniel was an executive director in the legal group of a big-five Canadian bank where he practised derivatives and financial services.

Simply Group of Companies in the sale of Simply Group Financial, SNAP Home Finance and certain assets of EcoHome Financial Inc. and One Dealer Inc. to Financeit Canada Inc.
Cresco Labs Inc. in its US$2-billion acquisition of Columbia Care Inc., making Cresco the second-largest cannabis producer and retailer in the U.S. at the time of the transaction.
Cresco Labs, in its US$207-million acquisition of Bluma Wellness Inc. a vertically integrated operator in Florida.
